Meet Our “Furbulous” Pet Sitters
Marissa Trigo
Owner & Founder
Marissa is the owner and founder of Pawsitively Purrfect Pet Sitting. Marissa’s love of animals began at a young age with her family’s dogs, birds and rabbits.
Her passion for working with animals grew as she volunteered her time and heart to the Lone Star Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso Rescue where she helped transport, rehabilitate and love abused and abandon dogs. Marissa rescued Cookie, a Shih Tzu, through Lone Star and her other dogs were rescues from puppy mills. They are now The Advisors of Pawsitively Purrfect – Kabuki Wu and Shanghai, both Mini Schnauzers, and Yummy King and Cookie, two Shih Tzus.
Marissa was employed with a local veterinary clinic for several years where she obtained her veterinary technician certification. Certified in pet CPR and pet first aid, Marissa brings her vast knowledge and love of animals to every one of her clients.
Mari Garcia
From the young age of 10 years old, Mari met the best friend that would be the teacher she didn’t even know she needed. Tiny Tot, small 10lb rat Terrier, entered Mari’s life at 6 weeks old and filled Mari’s life with love, and lessons, until she passed away at the ripe age of 17 years old! Being able to grow with and witness all the life stages of her furry best friend has brought Mari to be the animal lover she is today.
Mari now shares her heart and home with 2 dogs, Butters & Peanut.
Mayra Cruz
Pets bring out the maternal instinct in Mayra, especially pups of all sizes, ages and fur. Mayra has volunteered in community organizations to help stray animals and the environment — two causes to which she’s passionate about contributing. She is taking on the world with Benjamin Franklin, the best pup any girl could have at her side.
She is also the happy owner of two other lovely dogs, Chispa and Simon, along with a sun conure named Tenoch, DD, a dove, and a chicken named Lucy. As you can see, Mayra loves ALL species of different pets and can’t wait to meet yours!
Lizbeth Castelan
Pawsitively Purrfect is happy to add Lizbeth to the team of pet sitters and dog walkers! Lizbeth’s love of animals began at a young age as she kept, cared for, and loved a variety of pets. Hamsters, fish, cats, dogs and many more made their way into her heart and home over the years.
Now, she shares her home with her cats, Stud Muffin & Ignacia, and is thrilled to share her love and dedication of animals with us!
Kelly Perez
- I have 6 cats: Miles, Maizy, Sadie, Noodles, Napoleon, Kit Kat
- I have been with HFD for 18+ years, 14+ as a paramedic
- I’ve had cats my whole life (except freshman year in college). I also had little turtles growing up and lived with a dog (Matisse – my mom’s) about 8 months.
- My first tattoo is of my cat Tootie’s paw (how cute is that!). She was my first cat as an adult.
- I want to make friends with all the kitties and doggies I see
